Restoring Color

Reglazing and restoring existing color

These photos are tub showers that have had the color changed. The process used for adhesion will give you many years of enjoyment.

On a commercial level, often times the original color can be cleaned and polished to a like-new appearance. This is the preferred method for commercial applications (motels, hotels, etc.)

The reason is that there are many different users and the cleaning crews typically use harsh cleaners to keep the surface clean and once the glazed finish is damaged the fixture looks bad until it can be stripped and recoated.

This is especially true on one-piece fiberglass units. Unless the color must be changed, it is best to restore the existing color.

This is a 3 piece shower the customer wanted the seams filled and the color changed to white

The seams are filled and the entire surface glazed white.

A porcelain tub and fiberglass surround in bad shape.

The fiberglass surround was chemically cleaned and the tub was reglazed in white.

These coatings have tremendous adhesion on ceramic tile walls and the savings are 80% or greater comparing to a tear out and always, satisfaction is guaranteed.
